Journey Before Destination
James Green makes his return to the music scene after nearly a decade of silence. Plans are to record his first album since his days as front man for The 77 Jeffries in the summer of 2018. His latest efforts have shown his evolution as a songwriter and as someone observing true growth in oneself. His unique way of seeing his faith and how he relates it to real life circumstance is still one of his most enduring and endearing qualities.
Bio
James Green is the former front man of christian punk band The 77 Jeffries. He started out writing while at Ozark Christian College in 1997. He quickly formed his first touring band, The 77 Jeffries, by early 1998. The band successfully toured for the next 9 years in both christian and secular circles. After releasing 2 albums and several life changes the band played its final show in 2007. Shortly after, he released one acoustic EP, showing a vast change in style. After only doing a handful of small live performances he stopped performing all together in 2009. Now, after nearly a decade, he has started booking shows again, and has plans on recording the summer of 2018.
